Qualifying students have the opportunity to take college classes while in high school through the local community college. The Career and College Promise (CCP) program allows LCPS students to earn college credit at no cost to them.
CCP Resource Guide
How to Qualify
*Students must maintain a college GPA of 2.0 and an unweighted high school GPA of 2.8 in order to remain eligible for CCP classes.
Choosing What CCP Classes To Take
Before selecting college classes, students should think about the possible career they are interested in and the degree they are planning to pursue after high school. This purposeful planning helps students work towards earning college credit they will use in college, whether they are working on a 2-year degree at the community college, or a 4-year degree at a college or university.
