Deborah Campos-NLHS Counseling Office Secretary
Mrs. Campos has been at North Lenoir for 5 years. She describes herself as a wife, mother of one daughter, and a follower of Jehovah God. In her spare time she likes to go on long walks, watch old movies, and spend time with her family and friends.
Rachel Hewett-School Counselor
Mrs. Hewett serves all students in grades 9-12 with last name C-N. She is an East Carolina University graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. She began her career in education in 2007 when she began teaching history at North Lenoir High School. Mrs. Hewett began her master’s program in school counseling at Liberty University and moved to the NLHS Counseling Department in 2016. Mrs. Hewett was very excited to make the transition out of the classroom and into the school counseling office. She also serves as a co-chair of the graduation committee.
Treva Romig-School Counselor
Mrs. Romig serves all students in grades 9-12 with last names A-B & O-Z. She has been an educator in Lenoir County Public Schools since 2004. She taught English at Kinston High School, Woodington Middle School, and North Lenoir High School before transitioning to the counseling department in 2022. She is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BS (2004) and MA (2007) and MS in Counselor Education (2023). She also holds her National Board Certification. Mrs. Romig is a North Lenoir graduate herself (Go Hawks!) and loves continuing to work with and help the community she has always been a part of.
